Did you know that as a State Plan member or covered dependent you have access to no cost wellness events and presentations? Classes are offered by a variety of different presenters. Classes labeled "By Premise Health Coaching" are open to plan all members except Medicare retirees. Good news!  All virtual events are available to all eligible members, not just those in Health Center areas.

Registration for all classes must be received 24 hours prior to class. We cannot guarantee that registrations received less than 24 hours prior will be honored.

PLEASE NOTE: CareHere is now Premise!  This means that to register for a Premise Health Coaching class you will need to create a new account on the Premise web site, if you haven't already.  Click here for the online registrations instructions.  Please note, this only applies to Premise Health Coaching classes.

Walk With Ease
Date:

A new 6-week session starts the first Monday of every month. 

Location:

Online - self-paced

Description:

Walk with Ease is for anyone who is looking to start or maintain a low impact exercise program. The Walk with Ease is a 6-week, independent walking program. You get to pick when, where, and how long you would like to walk for. Each week you will receive a weekly, encouraging e-mail to help you get started and keep yourself motived to walk. During the 6-weeks, you will keep track and report your weekly walking minutes.

Yoga
Date:

Fridays from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.  

Location:

Description:

This yoga class is good for all levels of experience.  Flow through a warm up, sun salutations, balance, hip openers, twists, core work, and relaxation.  Come when you can - no requirement for attendance every Friday.

Better Sleep (by Premise Health Coaching)

Description:

Lack of sleep, and poor quality sleep, contribute to lower productivity, decreased metabolism, and affects mood and increases risk for other health concerns such as high blood pressure and obesity. There are steps you can take to improve your sleep routine and we will guide you through them, one “zzz” at a time.

Live Tobacco Free - Cessation Workshop (by Premise Health Coaching)

Description:

Completion of this workshop is an eligible alternative to help you earn the Live Life Well Incentive AND avoid the Tobacco Surcharge! Only 3-5% of individuals who quit tobacco/nicotine on their own are successful. This 7-week group workshop series will guide you to learn healthy and positive ways to become tobacco/nicotine-free for life while providing a safe space for group support and ongoing one-on-one support with a health coach.  Only need register once to attend all 7 sessions.  *All Premise health coaches are available for individualized tobacco/nicotine cessation coaching if the group dynamic is not for you.
