Wellness Events

Did you know that as a State Plan member or covered dependent you have access to no cost wellness events and presentations? Classes are offered by a variety of different presenters. Classes labeled "By Premise Health Coaching" are open to plan all members except Medicare retirees. Click here for more information on who is eligible to attend classes offered by Premise Health Coaching.

Good news!  All virtual events are available to all eligible members, not just those in Health Center areas.

Registration for all classes must be received 24 hours prior to class. We cannot guarantee that registrations received less than 24 hours prior will be honored.

Description:

This yoga class is good for all levels of experience.  Flow through a warm up, sun salutations, balance, hip openers, twists, core work, and relaxation.  Come when you can - no requirement for attendance every Friday.

Walk With Ease

Starts April 1, 2024 - you choose the time and place!

Description:

Walk With Ease is for anyone who is looking to start or maintain a low-impact exercise program.  Walk With Ease is a 6-week, independent walking program.  You get to pick when, where, and how long you walk.  Each week you will receive an encouraging e-mail to help you stay motivated.  During the 6-weeks you will keep track and report your weekly walking minutes.

Stay Active Challenge - Montana on the Move

We're all on the same team in this year's Governor's Stay Active Challenge - Montana on the Move! Every bit of activity you do counts toward the collective activity goal and helps us build a stronger community...together.  This 5-week physical activity challenge is virtual and suitable for all activity levels and types of activity. All kinds of activities count!

Helena area - Stay Active Challenge Hiking Series

Description:

Helena area - come join us for the Stay Active Challenge hiking series.  Explore Helena-area trails during your lunch hour and meet others interested in hiking.  These hikes will be beginner to intermediate in strenuousness.  Depending on your needs, feel free to come for part or all of the hike on any given day.  You will need comfortable shoes with good traction and water.  Other equipment as required by the weather. Choose one or more of the hikes that might interest you.  If you have any concerns, make sure to talk with your doctor prior to attending the hikes.
