There are a variety of weight management options available to State Plan members. These options are easy to use, available where and when you need them, and some have an incentive for participation!

Weight Management Programs
Healthy Weight Incentive

*Earn a $200 Healthy Weight Incentive for completing Weight Watchers, Healthy For Life Self-Study, or a Diabetes Prevention Program.

 


Weight Management Health Coaching
The Premise Montana Health Centers offer access to Registered Dietitians and Exercise Health Coaches!  Premise Health Coaches are available to active plan members, Non-Medicare eligible retirees, spouses, and/or domestic partners. Choose a telephone, virtual (with video), or in-person visit.

Eating Disorders and Weight Stigma Recorded Webinar

Watch the webinar above and learn more about how society, culture, and personal beliefs can influence mental health and overall well-being related to body size.  

  • Need help with an eating disorder? State Plan coverage for eating disorders depends on the services that are being provided and the benefits for those services specifically.  It is recommended to reach out to BlueCross & BlueShield of Montana prior to starting treatment for current coverage information. 

  • Examples of covered services may include: 

    • Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric services
    • Office Visits
    • Nutrition Therapy 
    • Individual Psychotherapy
    • Telemedicine visit Behavioral Health

     

  • The Eating Disorder Center of Montana referenced in the recorded webinar above is in-network with BlueCross & BlueShield of Montana, but is subject to change.  There may be other facilities available for eating disorder treatment.  Contact BlueCross & BlueShield of Montana for in-network provider and facility information.

WW (Weight Watchers ® Re-imagined)

WW's purpose is to inspire healthy habits for real life for people, families, communities, the world, for everyone.  No matter what your goal is - to lose weight, eat healthier, move more, develop a more positive mindset - WW brings you science-based solutions to fit into your life. There is a cost associated with this program, however you may qualify for the Live Life Well Healthy Weight Incentive which can help with the cost.  

The WW program is offered in several different formats.  Choose the format that works best for you. Workshops in the Workplace, Studio Workshops (Traditional), and WW Digital (Online) are all options.  Click here to visit the WW (Weight Watchers) site.

Choose how you want to participate: Traditional Workshops (in-person or virtual meetings), Workshops at Work (At-Work Meetings), and WW Online (using the WW Portal) all work.
