Did you know that as a State Plan member or covered dependent you have access to no cost wellness events and presentations? Health Coaches from the Montana Health Center provide expert-guided, evidence-based, group and individualized health coaching. Wellness events and presentations are a great way to experience the value Health Coaches provide to State Plan Members!

 

Attending and self-reporting that you have attended any two of the wellness events or presentations between November 1, 2017 and October 31, 2018 helps you earn your Live Life Well Incentive! For more information about our next step activities go to www.benefits.mt.gov/incentive.

Online Registration Instructions

Registration for all classes must be received 24 hours prior to class.  We cannot guarantee that registrations received less than 24 hours prior will be honored. 

To register for a class, follow the online registrations instructions below.  (Please note, not all classes are available for online registration.)  Don’t delay – classes have limited size and require registration!

Go to www.CareHere.com, select Member Login, and log in with your Username and Password.
 
  • Click on Appointments.
  • Click on date of the class.
  • Select the drop-down subtitle “What”.
  • Select Classroom (the word Classroom might be in gray, however, please click on it).
  • Click Get Appointments.
  • Select the Class Name in blue you wish to attend.
  • Select Make Appointment. 

Please read directions carefully and make sure you choose the date of the class and the header it is listed under.  If ‘No Appointments Available’ appears, the class is full. You may also call 855-200-6822 for assistance with registering. 

You can also view one of the recorded presentations anytime online at benefits.mt.gov/LiveLifeWellPresentations.


Request a Class or Presentation

If you are interested in a class or presentation but find it doesn't match a day or time that works for you, consider inviting a Health Coach to come to you! Health Coaches are available for on-site visits. Enrich your departmental/staff meetings with a guest speaker. Suggested topics are available, or you can request a topic of interest for your group. Complete an electronic request for a class or presentation at www.surveymonkey.com/r/pptrequest.You can also contact Margy Bartley at mbartley@carehere.com for any additional questions or a list of topics.

Do you have Diabetes/Prediabetes or take care of someone who does? This can be an overwhelming diagnosis. Tune in and let’s break down the basics to help you feel more confident in managing your blood sugars and overall health.

Tobacco Cessation Beat the Pack/ Kick the Can Workshops
Dates: Thursday, April 19, 26, 12:00 PM-1:00 PM.
Location: Webinar URL to be sent to registered participants.
Are you interested in quitting tobacco? Have you tried before, but you were not successful on your own? Please join in this 8-week group class to learn healthy and positive ways to become tobacco-free for life. This class is taught by a Tobacco Cessation coach and will offer one on one, as well as group support. It is very important for participants to actively engage in these meetings to get a full experience of support and knowledge.  A workbook, along with other materials, will be sent to your email address once you register for this webinar, please check your CareHere account and make sure your information is up to date.  Class continues for 8 weeks (May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, June 7).  Registration for April 19 implies attendance in all 8 weeks.

Walk with Ease
Dates: Starts April 2, 6-week walking program.
Location: It is an online self-directed walking program, you pick the time and place to walk!
The Walk with Ease program is for anyone who wants to start or maintain a low impact exercise program. During the six-week program the Walk with Ease coach will e-mail you weekly to help get you started and keep you motivated to walk.  Participants will keep track and report their walking minutes each week.
